From Featherframe to Local Content Studio
Featherframe began with wildlife — photographing it, filming it, teaching it and telling stories from the field.
The same approach increasingly took us beyond wildlife: working with organisations, businesses, people and events where there was still a story worth finding.
Local Content Studio is the commercial production arm of Featherframe.
It takes the photography, filmmaking and storytelling approach developed here and applies it to commercial work — from businesses and people to events, products and places.
Photography
Featherframe's roots are photographic. Observation, timing and finding the frame rather than manufacturing it remain central to how we approach commercial work.
Film
Moving image became a natural extension of the same process — documenting people, places and what actually happens around them rather than forcing everything into an advert.
Stories
Whether we're following wildlife or documenting a business, the aim is the same: find what makes the subject interesting and build the work around that.
